Defying conventional wisdom has become a badge of honor in Atlanta. Wear it with pride with “ATL’s Finest”.
Many said soccer would never make it in the ATL. That the sport wasn’t something that was liked in the South. But in just two years, Atlanta’s newest club was routinely shattering records on the pitch and in the stands. And that meteoric rise was capped off by a magnificent 2018 season that saw the club ride the wave that was Josef Martínez and his 35-goal campaign to the playoffs final. And predictably, it was the mercurial Venezuelan striker who opened the scoring in the final against Portland before defender Franco Escobar added a second after halftime to hand Atlanta their first cup in just their second season in the show.
The match side of the wristband features an interlocking “A” pattern, meant to replicate Atlanta’s diverse supporters united in support of their club. The reverse side takes inspiration from the club’s nickname of the “Five Stripes”, with five separate color blocks reminiscent team’s famous black and red striped kits.
