As a result, they advanced to Lyon’s Parc Olympique Lyonnais for a final against the up-start Dutch. There, A 61st-minute penalty from captain Megan Rapinoe and a 69th-minute strike from Cincinnati’s own Rose Lavelle was enough to clinch the Red, White & Blue‘s fourth world title.
