Show your support for the Bhoys with our rendition of their famous “Hoops”.
Once considered to be one of the giants of European football, the Hoops’ have recently found international success harder to come by than their continued domestic dominance. So being drawn alongside the likes of Barcelona, Benfica, and Spartak Moscow in the 2012/13 Champions League meant few expected much of the Scots, once again. The Bhoys performed well in their initial tie against Barça, which they lost 1-2 at the Nou Camp. But Neil Lennon’s men were determined to improve upon that performance back in Glasgow. There, the visitors managed an astounding 89% of the possession and peppered the Hoops’ goal with 23 shots. But when the referee blew his whistle at full time, it was the Hoops who came out on top 2-1 courtesy of goals from Victor Wanyama and substitute Tony Watt and a lights-out performance from Frazier Forester in goal.
The match side of the wristband sits on a black background adorned by Celtic knots. On the reverse, the Bhoys famous hoops are similarly accented.
