Whether you’re from Jersey or from the City, this wristband is perfect for your inner metro.
The Hudson River Derby may be young as far as derby matches go, but it’s already had some absolute bangers. Near the top of that list is a blowout victory at Yankee Stadium for Harrison-based Bulls in the match’s fourth edition. Despite having heavy-hitters like Andrea Pirlo and David Villa in the home side’s lineup, the once-Metros pounded the Pigeons 7-0 — including a brace a piece for Dax McCarty and Bradley Wright-Phillips — tying the league’s largest-ever margin of victory.
The match side of the wristband takes its inspiration from the double-decker NJ Transit train cars that run between New York City and Harrison, NJ, dressed in the Bulls’ standard away colors. The reverse recalls the design of a famous energy drink can while also integrating the black and red stripes donned in the club’s early years.
