MATCH STORY

Having conceded two away goals in an 0-2 loss at Old Trafford in the first leg of the 2018/19 Champions League quarterfinals, then-caretaker United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær faced an uphill battle in the second leg in Paris. And though a first-half brace from Romelu Lukaku should have erased that deficit, Edison Cavani’s 12th minute goal appeared to ruin their chances of an aggregate. But at the death, the Ole channeled his inner Fergie-time and his Red Devils were awarded a penalty.  Marcus Rashford cooly slotted the penalty home in the 94th minute to see his side advance 3-3 on aggregate.

DESIGN STORY

The match side of the wristband features the club’s famous red surrounded by an array of devil’s pitchforks, with the United goals marked in pink to represent the kits worn that night in Paris. The reverse is inspired by the famed green and gold away kits worn from 1992-1994, itself taking inspiration from the club’s original colors.
