Wear your unconditional faith in Mengão on your wrist with the club’s most recent South American trophy.

MATCH STORY

Just three years after last hoisting the Copa Libertadores trophy for a second time , Flamengo had an opportunity to pull themselves level with other Brazilian royalty with three South American titles in 2022. They topped Group H and sailed through the knockout rounds with an undefeated record and having a +25 goal difference, dumping out big clubs like Corinithians and Vélez Sarsfield along the way. And in the final, they’d meet an Athletico Paranaense appearing in just their second ever final and who hadn’t won their group, suffered two losses and four draws, and just +4. And the underdogs made it yet another scrappy affair, forcing the Rubro-Negros to earn their third title with just a single goal in first half injury time from Gabigol.

DESIGN STORY

The match side features the famous “Christ the Redeemer” that towers over Rio and the Maracanã. On the reverse, is a design inspired by the famous red and black striped kits worn by the club when they lifted the 2022 crown.
