Viva San Antonio
Celebrate a trophy being lifted in San Antonio with our limited edition ode to the club formerly known as the Scorpions.
The story of the beautiful game in San Antonio is one that winds like the popular River Walk that runs through the city. But one of the most incredible chapters in that long and winding history came during a record-setting year for the local club. After claiming regular season conference and league title’s with one of the best records in league history, San Antonio blazed their way to a final they would host at home. There they would face two-time champs and perennial finalists Louisville. Two goals from star Colombian striker Patiño and another from Adeniran were enough to see off a late consolation effort from the visitors and helped San Antonio to their first soccer championship since 2014.
The match side takes its design cues from the city of San Antonio, including the Alamo and the city’s hispanic cultural heritage. The reverse side is inspired by the club’s crest with a black background punctuated by diagonal grey and red stripes.
