Represent the Wanderers and one of their most glorious European nights with “Wandering Wolves”.
Having spent the previous 40 years on the international sidelines, Wolverhampton’s return to European competition 2019/2020 was long-awaited. Nuno Espírito Santo’s men had already climbed their way out of the English second tier just two seasons before and now found themselves in the knockout phase. And standing in the way of a spot in the Round of 16 was Barcelona’s second most famous side, Espanyol. And much as they took the English ranks by storm in the previous campaign, they did the same on an even bigger stage. A first-leg hat-trick from Diogo Jota and an insurance goal from Rúben Neves set the English side up perfectly for the second leg and an even deeper run on the continent.
The match side features a design inspired by the club’s hexagonal crest and featuring wolves reminiscent of their old badge. The reverse side depicts a pack of wolves on the prowl, wandering their way to their next victory.
