nMatch Story:
The 2023-24 edition of the Concacaf Nations League was somewhat chaotic. They started the tournament edging by Trinidad & Tobago in the quarterfinals, losing on the road again in the Carribean. In the semifinal round, they needed extra time after equalizing in the dying seconds of injury time after conceding a first-minute goal. But after a shaky road to the final, a match against arch rivals Mexico brought out their best. After weathering some early pressure, the US washed over El Trà and eventually stole the lead with a Tyler Adams blast in the final moment of the first half. And in the second firs half, Gio Reyna – hero of the semifinal – was again on the mark to give the USMNT a familiar 2-0 win and their third straight Nations League crown.
Design Story:
The match side of the wristband melds elements from the kit worn by the US men in the final against Mexico and their amorphous prematch tops. The design on the reverse is inspired by the new national team away kit and it’s tie-dye sash.
